Today Noni and I became homeless save for a storage locker and a c/o address. We are temporarily residing in a Best Western hotel a few short blocks from the old condo so, at least, we're still in our same neighbourhood. The first thing that really hit home about this changed situation is the lack of keys. Just the car keys (and, of course, the locker key) are still there in my pocket but the car keys will be going soon. I might have to buy a small lock for one of our suitcases just so the locker key doesn't get lonely. Perhaps you've never experienced the angst of a single key on a ring. It's a heartless thing to subject a wee piece of brass to and I, for one, cannot do it.
Upon bringing our bags up to the hotel room we quickly determined that we still have too much stuff with us. The local thrift shops will soon be awash with our castoffs. Travelling light is a heavy task. Stay tuned.
I'm a photographer. I've been around awhile and hope to be around for awhile longer. I'm just about to set off with my beautiful wife on a new adventure. We're going to live in Thailand for a period of time and I'm planning to do a lot of photography while we're there. This blog is aimed at showing you some of my work as we travel and to tell you about any interesting events along the way. Stay tuned.

GETTING READY
Noni and I are in the last stages of packing up and shipping out. Our condo is sold and all but a few of our favourite possessions will either be coming with us or stored in a locker for future use.
